Tonight I will spend the evening in my studio.  Time spent painting, spinning, or whatever I’m doing there always brings me back to center.  My 3 dogs always come with me and doze on the floor nearby, and we listen to music.  Our favorite musician right now is an old favorite, Mike Rowland.  Magical music, very peaceful.

I’m working on a large painting these days, larger than any I’ve done in years.  Here is the raw beginning, done mainly just to get paint on the canvas:
